Missing elderly man found safe, according to APD

UPDATE: Cleo Perkins has been found and is safe, according to APD.



Austin police are searching for an endangered elderly man, 86-year-old Cleo Perkins. 

Perkins was reported missing Friday and was last seen in the 3300 block of Kay Street around 9:30 a.m. Police say he has medical conditions, which create a concern for his welfare. 

Perkins is described as a black male with grey hair and brown eyes. He's about 5'7,'' 155 pounds and walks with a slouch. He was last seen wearing a VA baseball cap, grey and black long sleeved shirt and blue jeans. 

Police are asking anyone with information to call 911 immediately or the Missing Persons Unit at 512-974-5250 (7 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
