Austin police searching for suspect of a series of aggravated robberies

The Austin Police Department is searching for an aggravated robbery suspect who has targeted five separate pharmacies. 

Police say the suspect has approached all five pharmacies demanding controlled drugs. The suspect has been armed with a handgun in all the cases. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s to 30s with black hair. Police say he is about 5'8'' and has recently shaved off a mustache. 

The suspect has gone to the following pharmacies, according to police:

•  CVS, 3569 Far West Blvd., July 3, 2017, 21:02
•  Walgreens, 11724 Research Blvd., July 8, 2017, 02:27
•  Walgreens, 5819 Burnet Rd., July 21, 2017, 18:29
•  Walgreens, 4501 Guadalupe St., July 26, 2017, 07:26

APD is asking the public to call the robbery tip line at (512) 974-5092 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS if they have any information.
