Musicians and fans from across Austin showed up over the weekend to Antone's Blues Club to support guitarist Omar Kent Dykes.
Dykes has been playing music for more than five decades.
Back in his 20s, Dykes hooked up with the Howlers. They moved to Austin in the 70's but ended up splitting. Dykes kept the name and went on to release more than a dozen albums.
Dykes has played at Antone's since it opened but a recent illness has taken him off the stage.
Fellow musicians held a benefit Dykes.
