The Frontier Days Celebration kicks off at noon at Old Settlers Park and includes fireworks, carnival rides, jalapeno pepper eating contest, Swifty Swine pig races, children's games, Sam Bass shootout, movies in the park, skydivers and more!

This event is free for the entire family.

After the parade, join us for the free Parks and Recreation activity zone featuring caricature artist, face painters & balloon twisters.

All the fun takes place Sharon Prete Main Street Plaza right after the parade!

Independence Day festivities will begin with free watermelon at the Lakeview Pavilion in Old Settlers Park and include music from the Austin Symphonic Band.

The event also features a pepper eating contest, vendor booths, Sertoma rubber duck races and full-scale carnival rides!
