Central Texas storm damage

The stormy start to the day left behind a lot of debris from Jarrell to the Llano County side of Lake Buchanan.

13-year-old Gage Watson recorded video of what some witnesses said was a waterspout crossing Lake Buchanan. The swirling storm caused moderate damage to a few homes and storage buildings. Sherry Caruso, a Paradise Pointe resident, said the intensity of the storm made it difficult to see out of her front door.

"It was a very loud whistling sound that's what i heard my husband heard rumblings he was in the back of the house and that might be part of the barbecue pits," Caruso said.

The storm also caused several wrecks during the latter part of the morning rush hour. There were no reports of any serious injuries directly related to the storm.
