Circuit of the Americas has been transformed into a holiday village and Friday night the public got their first chance to experience it.
Winter Wonderland at the Circuit includes more than 1 million lights on display.
The 1500-acre space includes multiple holiday displays. Attractions include singing trees, a winter village, petting zoo, tunnel of lights, circuit of lights, skating rink, human snow globes and of course the star of the show, Santa himself.
Putting together the special event took a lot of planning.
“We envisioned this five years ago, it's just been a matter of when can we execute and do it. And we hired staff full time over a year ago, went around the country and looked at what other festivals are doing and tried to borrow some of the great aspects of those,” said Bobby Epstein, Chairman of Circuit of the Americas.
Winter Wonderland at the Circuit will be open this weekend. It will then reopen December 8 and stay open until the 30.
Several nights have already sold out, so anyone interested should get tickets soon.
