Early voting begins for May 7 special election

Early voting is now underway for the May 7 special election. One of the items receiving the most attention is the ride-sharing initiative or Prop 1.
A "Yes" vote on Prop 1 essentially means you side with companies Uber and Lyft to reject the city's regulations. A "No" vote means you're siding with the city and its regulations which include asking ride-sharing companies to require fingerprint background checks for drivers.
Early voting ends on May 3.
