Elementary school teacher arrested after attempting to stab boyfriend say Manor police

MANOR, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Manor Police Department have arrested an elementary school teacher who allegedly attempted to stab her boyfriend Sunday night. 

Around 11 p.m. Sunday, Manor police responded to a family disturbance at 16701 Jaron Drive.

According to police, 41-year-old Yamile Uribe attempted to stab her live in boyfriend with a kitchen knife after a night of drinking. 

Police say Uribe is an elementary school teacher at Lagos Elementary School in Manor. 

Uribe was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
