Evacuations and rescues continue as more rain expected

Emergency crews across Central Texas are reporting some rescues and evacuations as a line of storms is expected to bring more rain to the area.

Bastrop County Sheriff's Office says its starting mandatory evacuation of RV Park on Colorado River at FM 969.

Bastrop County Office of Emergency Management says evacuations are also underway on Riverwood Dr., River Front Drive, Shoreline Drive, RV at river in the City of Bastrop and Riverside in Tahitian.

Travis County Emergency Services reported that one person was evacuated via Cap Metro bus from Citation Circle area in Southeast Travis County. It advises people in that area to evacuate to River Timber and Whirlaway Drive. The condition of the person rescued is not known at this point.

Caldwell County Office of Emergency Management says swift water rescues were underway around the Luling area due to vehicles driving in to water on flooded roadways.
