Fatal car accident on Highway 290 leaves three dead

The Gillespie County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal car accident on Highway 290, East of Fredricksburg.
According to police, the three vehicle accident happened late Saturday morning near Rach Road 1376. Emergency responders arrived on scene shortly after 12:30 p.m. Three were dead on arrival.
Six other patients were treated and taken to local hospitals.
