AUSTIN, Texas - Paul Manafort's personal finance case is in court.
President Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort is in court Tuesday on charges related to financial crimes and, money laundering.
It's the first trial to come out of special counsel Robert Mueller's Russia investigation.
The charges against Manafort have nothing to do with the president.
But, legal experts say something could come out during testimony to change that.
FOX-7 Austin’s Rebecca Thomas talked to Travis County GOP chairman, Matt Mackowiak and, Glenn Smith from Progress Texas about the possibility of something coming out during the trial that would incriminate the president.
