FOX 7 Discussion: Gov. Greg Abbott talks special session and bathroom bill

- Texas Governor Greg Abbott called for the special session in early June after legislators did not come up with a bill that would fund some much needed state agencies in the regular session.

Governor Abbott also added 19 other items on the list for the legislature to take up in the special session which lasts only 30 days.

FOX 7's Rebecca Thomas and Mike Warren talk with Gov. Abbott and discuss the opposition surrounding the so-called bathroom bill and the push to move it forward. They also asked Governor Abbot what he considers to be the most important piece of legislation this special session.

Tuesdays interview was courtesy of Gov. Abbott campaign.
