H-E-B accepts Archer's Challenge

H-E-B is showing support for people who use wheelchairs. The store at the Hancock Center in Central Austin accepted Archer's Challenge yesterday.

As part of the challenge, H-E-B workers were given grocery lists and had to stop and checkout while using wheelchairs. The groceries on those lists are heading to the Central Texas Food Bank as a donation from H-E-B.

Archer Hadley was born with cerebral palsy and has spent his life in a wheelchair.

ARCHER HADLEY TALKS ABOUT ARCHER'S CHALLENGE

In high school, Hadley came up with his first challenge after the doors at his school wouldn't open for him to get in. He raised money to buy new accessible doors at Austin Independent School District campuses plus a ramp and an overhead roof.
