High school softball coach reinstated, investigation closed

UPDATE: After conducting an investigation, district officials have decided to reinstate Lake Travis High School softball head coach Billy Coleman to his full duties and responsibilities effective Tuesday, October 10, 2017. 

Coleman was placed on paid administrative leave on Thursday, September 28. 

 


 

A Lake Travis High School coach has been placed on paid administrative leave over an allegation of inappropriate conduct, according to Lake Travis ISD. 

William Coleman, the head softball coach at the school, began his tenure in August. Before coming to Lake Travis he was a softball and football coach in Amarillo at Canyon Randall High School. 

The school district is conducting an investigation and will not release any more information until it is concluded.
