High school student stuck in cave in San Antonio

First responders are attempting to rescue an 18-year-old high school student who fell in a cave during a school field trip in San Antonio on Thursday, March 8, 2018, according to KSAT. 

Rescue crews are trying to get the female student out of Robber Baron Cave at 155 Camelia Way.

According to the Texas Cave Management Association, Robber Baron Cave is the second oldest commercial cave in Texas, was used as a speakeasy during prohibition, and is surrounded by many legends and rumors. The cave is a well-known and popular local destination in San Antonio.

According to San Antonio Fire Department Chief Charles Hood, it is going to take some time.
