ISSUE RESOLVED: Service restored for Liberty Hill area

UPDATE: Service has been restored for AT&T customers in the Liberty Hill area.

According to a spokesperson with AT&T, "Service has been restored for customers in Liberty Hill area, who were affected by a fiber cut caused by a contractor doing work for another company."

AT&T is reportedly having an issue with phone numbers that begin with 515 and 778 in the Liberty Hill area. Williamson County says numbers with those prefixes may not be able to reach 911.

The alternate number to call in case of an emergency is 512-943-1394, the Williamson County Emergency Communications.

Williamson County says if you call 911 and don't get an answer, you should hang up and call the above number. These phone numbers are currently able to call other numbers. AT&T is reportedly working on the repairs.
