Man arrested and charged for East Austin murder

The Austin Police Department have arrested and charged Andre Jackson, 34, with the murder of 19-year-old Kenneth Johnson Jr.
Authorities said the victim's body was found unconscious, with multiple gunshot wounds, on the 7400 block of Geneva Drive in East Austin on November 6.
Police believe the victim was shot at another location and his body was dumped after the shooting.
According to court paperwork, APD used cell phone records and antenna data of Jackson and the victim that revealed a number of calls between the two including calls on the night of the murder. Jackson was also seen leaving Studio 6, a motel just east of I-35, with the victim about 15 minutes prior to his death.
Jackson is being held in the Travis County Jail on a $250,000 bond.
