Manor police no longer investigating incident as possible kidnapping

The Manor Police Department says it is no longer investigating an incident as a possible kidnapping.

Police say they have conducted interviews with the individuals involved and say neither appeared to be in any harm or danger. They say that no charges are being filed at this time.

The investigation began after Manor police released door bell camera video from a home in the 19200 block of Nathan Scott Way in Manor of an incident that happened on June 18 at around 9:25 p.m.

In the video, audio can be heard with a woman saying "stop please no no no" and the man asking her to "get in the car."

Police were asking the public for help locating and identifying the woman and man in the video because they were concerned for the woman's safety.

At around 7 a.m. on June 19, police said they had located the woman and that she was in good health and not harmed. Police say the woman claimed that no kidnapping or other offenses occurred.
