Two dead following four vehicle crash on US 183

Both directions of US 183 were shut down following a fatal car accident.
According to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, the accident happened on US 183 at Christine Lane, which is north of Liberty Hill. Two people were killed in the four vehicle accident.
First responders asked drivers to find alternate routes.
FM 3405 was reportedly used to get around the section of US 183 that had been closed.
The Texas Department of Public Safety will be leading the investigation.
