The Austin’s New Year line-up includes Grupo Fantasma, Golden Dawn Arkestra, and Carolyn Wonderland.
Austin’s New Year (ANY) is an annual alcohol-free celebration that showcases a variety of art, food trucks, and live music on three stages.
Other confirmed performers include The Statesboro Revue, Big Cat, Vallejo, KP and the Boom Boom, Shawn Nelson, and Kalu James.
The Community Stage will also feature The Watters, Tiarra Girls, Big Don, and Band Aid.

Austin’s New Year 2016 is proud to present a dynamic and diverse group of local artists and exhibitors to inspire and entertain festival goers. Featuring aerialists, live painting, glowing creatures, and hands-on activities, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Bike Zoo: Human-powered puppetry featuring larger-than-life creatures powered by bicycles.
The Flying Balalakai Bros: Roaming interactive performance of Gypsy Folk music.
Scare for A Cure: Face Painting and theater crafts.
Sky Candy: Breathtaking works of aerial drama.
The Thinkery: Combining science and art through crafts and 3D printer demonstrations.
Tim Kerr: Collaborative community art project led by Texas Music Hall of Fame Recipient, award-winning artist and activist Tim Kerr. Come join the fun -- throw water balloons full of paint and make your mark on a 30-foot mural celebrating our community.
ART IN PUBLIC PLACES
The City of Austin's Art in Public Places’s TEMPO Program will bring several innovative and thought-provoking installations and outdoor displays.
Earth Mother, by Yuliya Lanina
This 6-foot-tall female head, sculpted from recycled foam with hair that's a garden of native flowers and grasses, rises from the fields of district 10's Rosedale Park to bless visitors. Artist Yuliya Lanina dedicates it to the earth and all mothers.
KNOT, by George Sabra
George Sabra has turned his knack for epic sculpture toward 20 reclaimed 55-gallon oil drum barrels, compressing and attaching them to form an 11-foot-tall steel knot. It calls attention to climate change and fossil fuels as a major cause of global warming.
Omission, by Juan Deleon
A collection of 10-foot diameter, white vinyl spheres are installed in various configurations at five separate sites over four months. The idea is that their placement creates a defined area out of what was open space on the landscape.
The Public Sentiment Campaign, by Jennifer Chenoweth & Dorothy Johnson
People's memories and stories of regularly visited parks are evoked through brightly colored aluminum signage markers featuring collected personal quotes and whimsical "notices."

The free festival begins at 4 p.m. at Auditorium Shores, South 1st Street and Riverside Drive, with a fireworks finale at 10 p.m. See photos from past events.
