One person killed in Southeast Austin crash
A crash kills one person in Southeast Austin. It happened just before midnight in the 5100 block of Ponciana Drive just east of I-35 and north of Stassney.
Police say the car hit an electrical pole.
A man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man in 20s was taken to UMC Brackenridge with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
No word yet on what caused the crash but the roads were slick at the time.
