AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - The Austin Police Department is investigating a car accident that left one person dead. A 43-year-old male was killed while crossing I-35.
The preliminary investigation shows that a pedestrian was crossing I-35, from west to east, around 4:20 a.m. on Sunday, July 14 in the 300 block when a 2007, blue Ford Explorer struck him.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Explorer remained on scene and was cooperative.
No charges are expected at this time.
