Police investigate a possible road rage incident that left one man dead

According to police a possible road rage incident led to the shooting death of one man.

A man in his 30's was shot to death Tuesday afternoon near the intersection of Dessau Road and East Parmer Lane police said.

Austin Travis County EMS medics were called to the intersection around 4:30 p.m., when they arrived they immediately began performing CPR on the victim.  Medical responders reported that the victim died shortly after.

Police said that two vehicles were involved both were sedans, one red and one teal. Police also said the cars were seen driving around the area before coming to the CVS parking lot.

"The victim was in a teal sedan, the suspect in a red sedan. So if anybody does have any information about any type of road rage incident involving those two types of vehicles in this area, please reach out to us," said Officer Jeremy Bohannon with APD.

Police said the suspect has not yet been identified but was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and driving a red Sedan.
