Police search for two suspects reportedly involved in Dripping Springs jewelry robbery

The Hays County Sheriff’s Office are investigating a robbery at VIK Jewelers in Dripping Springs, Texas.
 

It happened last Saturday around 11 a.m., officials said they received a call about an aggravated robbery that occurred at 598 East Highway 290. 

According to official’s surveillance camera caught two suspects entering the store and walking through, they were armed with handguns and ordered two employees to raise their hands. 

One suspect attempted to break the glass to one of the jewelry cases but was unsuccessful. The second suspect fired two rounds into the case and was able to steal jewelry said officials. 

After, the two suspects fled the scene in a dark green or gray Nissan passenger car police said. 

Officials described the suspects as two black males.Suspect one was described with light complexion and weighing around 175 pounds. He was wearing light colored jeans, black sweatshirt, tan baseball hat and wearing sunglasses. 

The other suspect was described with darker complexion, having facial hair and weighing around 150 pounds. He was wearing blue jeans, black jacket with a wide white stripe on the sleeves, camouflage style beanie hat, and a construction worker styled reflective vest. 

Officials said no one was hurt during the robbery. 

They have released composite sketches of the two suspect’s.
