AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - Austin police are searching for the person responsible for a deadly hit-and-run crash in northeast Austin over the weekend.
The crash happened early in the morning on July 28 in the 8700 block of Cross Park Drive near Cameron Road and 183.
Police believe a person got out of a moving vehicle and was hit by another car that was behind them.
Officers arrived and found a man on road. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they are looking for a small, tan four door vehicle with the make and model possibly a Toyota Corolla. They say it has missing hub caps and will have obvious front and undercarriage damage.
