POTUS stops at Torchy's Tacos with Mayor Adler

President Barack Obama is in Austin today and made a stop at Torchy's Tacos in South Austin for lunch.

Obama is in Austin today as a Keynote Speaker for SXSW. Air Force One landed at ABIA shortly after 1 PM. Obama's appearance Friday at South by Southwest Interactive will be the first by a sitting U.S. president.

President Barack Obama will aim to encourage civic engagement and use of technology to solve problems, like helping needy families get diapers for their children, when he appears at a decades-old tech festival in Texas.

During his stop at Torchy's Tacos, the President ordered a Democrat, a Republican "because I'm bipartisan" and an Independent. The President also went around and spoke to others who were enjoying Torchy's Tacos.

Aaron, the local waiter at Torchy's who served the President of the United States, says he will keep the President's receipt as a souvenir.

President Barack Obama is expect to speak at the Long Center around 3 PM.
