The principal of Murchison Middle School has announced his resignation. Brad Clark cited "recent challenges with which we have been faced as a learning community" in his resignation letter.

According to the Austin Independent School District, Brad Clark abruptly announced his resignation. The letter was shared with parents and faculty on Wednesday, February 6.

"Given the most recent challenges with which we have been faced as a learning community, I have decided to step down as principal of Murchison Middle School, so that a new leader can bring healing to our campus," said Principal Brad Clark. "Our partnership has been meaningful and successful, but I believe a new direction will be in the best interest of everyone.
