Round Rock police investigating second suspicious death from December 31st

The Round Rock Police Department says it is investigating a second suspicious death from December 31st.

Police say officers responded to a medical assistance call at around 8:30 p.m. to the 1100 block of Preserve Place. A family member had called police about a possible suicide after they found the victim dead.

Round Rock Police have identified the man as 37-year-old Joshua Armstrong.

Police couldn't comment on Armstrong's cause of death, but they're calling it suspicious.

An investigation was started and police now believe it to be a suspicious death and is not believed to be a random act.

If you have information you're asked to call Round Rock police at 512-218-5500 or call 9-1-1.

Police say it is not believed to be linked to the suspicious death of a woman on the 2600 block of Leslie Court on the same day.
