Round Rock police looking for bank robbery suspect

Round Rock police are on the lookout for a bank robbery suspect. The suspect robbed the BBVA Compass Bank at 895 North IH-35 in Round Rock.

Police say the aggravated robbery occurred on July 21st at around 4:50 p.m. They say a Hispanic male entered the bank, displayed a firearm and demanded money from a bank employee.

The suspect was wearing a ball cap, sunglasses and bandana over his face in an attempt to conceal his identity. He was last seen wearing a dark long sleeved shirt, dark wind pants with a stripe and tennis shoes.

Police describe the suspect as about 5'6" to 5'8" in height and weighing around 150-175 pounds. 

The suspect fled on foot before getting any money and was last seen southbound under the IH-35 bridge towards Brushy Creek.
