Search for Austin woman who disappeared along Loop 360

It's been a long, worrisome and sleepless week for Andi Davies. So much so, he has relied on encouragement from loved ones to keep him going.

“All I've been doing is talking to my family back home in Britain, and talking to my friend Paul,” said Davies.

His common-law wife, Angela Morris, disappeared Monday around 2 p.m.

The couple was dealing with some car trouble that afternoon.

“We were on 360 South, we were heading to an appointment. The car had a blow out on the right side, passenger side,” said Davies.

So they pulled over, put a donut tire on and kept driving. But then, the donut popped.

“We pulled in again into a gravel spot off the side of the highway,” said Davies.

Because Davies is an amputee, Angela went back to the old breakdown location to pick up a tool they left, but he says she never returned.

“It's totally out of character, especially to walk off like that and not come back and leave me in the car,” said Davies.

He has remained hopeful, thoughts of their times together is what keeps him going.

“She's totally fun, she is sweet, she'll do anything for anybody,” said Davies.

Austin police are investigating. The public is asked to call police immediately with any information.
