Search for man who inappropriately touched UT student

The Austin Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who is accused of inappropriately touching a female student from the University of Texas at Austin. 

According to APD, the incident occurred on Sunday, January 21, 2018 around 3 a.m. in the 2400 block of Guadalupe. A group of friends was walking on Guadalupe when a man whistled, approached one of the women in the group from behind and grabbed her before running away. 

The others in the group attempted to grab the man but he was able to flee. 

This is the only incident on record at this time. 



Anyone with information is asked to call the Austin Police Department.
