Missing child found safe in Austin

UPDATE: The missing child has been found safe. 

Austin police are searching for a missing child in northeast Austin. The child has been identified as 10-year-old Jesus Moreno.

Police say they received a call around 7:20 Tuesday morning. Jesus was last seen leaving his home in the 7000 block of Carver Avenue around 7. Police say he was possibly seen in front of JJ Pickle Elementary around 7:20 a.m.

Jesus is described as being 4'9'' and about 145 pounds. He has short black hair with brown eyes and was last seen wearing a dark grey hoodie with lighter grey sleeves, a navy blue t-shirt, khaki pants, black and blue tennis shoes and blue glasses. 

If you have any information you are asked to call 911 immediately.
