Search for missing person in Lake Pflugerville

PFLUGERVILLE, Texas - Officials have been called out to Lake Pflugerville to search for a missing person Wednesday afternoon. 

Pflugerville dispatch received a call just before 3:30 p.m. of a 20-year-old male going under water about 50 feet from the shore, according to police. The incident happened in the 5900 block of Weiss Lane. 

Pflugerville police are on the shore and the Pflugerville Fire Rescue team is in the water searching for the missing male. 

The lake is closed until further notice.
