Stony Point HS coach among two killed in fatal auto-pedestrian crashes

The Round Rock Police Department are investigating a pair of auto-pedestrian accidents that killed two people, including a Stony Point High School teacher and coach, on Friday night.

The first incident happened around 11 P.M. Friday in Downtown Round Rock at the intersection of South Mays and West Main Street. Police said a man was hit by a truck and the driver fled the scene. Sean Kelley, 43, a teacher and assistant coach at Stony Point High School was identified as the victim. 

Round Rock police are searching for the driver.

The second fatal crash happened around 2:58 AM on the 3400 block of East Palm Valley Boulevard, near the Dell Diamond. 

The victim has been identified as Jorge Morales from Hutto, Texas. Morales was 24-years-old. 

Police said Morales was reportedly in the road when he was hit by a car traveling east . He was transported to the hospital where he later died. The driver remained on the scene and was questioned by police. The incident is also under investigation.
