Suspect photos very similar in Round Rock, Belton bank robberies

Police believe the woman who robbed a Wells Fargo in Round Rock Monday could be linked to an earlier bank robbery in Belton.

Round Rock police released a photo of the suspect described as a Hispanic woman in her 40s to 50s, about 5'3" and 160 pounds with dark hair.

Belton police say about 45 minutes earlier, they reported a woman walked into the BBVA Compass in Belton, handed a note to the teller and demanded money.

She then left the scene with the money. Police are not confirming if the two incidents are connected, but they do acknowledge the photos look very much alike.
