Suspects arrested for NYE homicide in Round Rock

Two people have been arrested in connection to the death of Joshua Armstrong. 

Armstrong was found dead by a family member on New Year's Eve. The Round Rock Police Department initially said the cause of death was suspicious before ruling it a homicide. 

23-year-old Richard Joseph Acosta was taken into custody on Saturday morning after a Williamson County Judge served an arrest warrant for him related to the murder. 

20-year-old Vanessa Velasco has also been charged with burglary relating to this case.
