AUSTIN, Texas (FOX 7 Austin) - A private wealth manager from Austin, Texas, was arrested by Monterey County Sheriff's Office Detectives for sexually assaulting two women, earlier this month.
48-years-old David Walter Osborne, and two high-profile friends, rented a private jet and travelled to Pebble Beach, California for a golf trip, according to police. Osborne and his friends shared rooms at the Pebble Beach Lodge, where it was reported Osborne sexually assaulted the victims.
After detectives investigated the allegations and determined they had sufficient evidence of the crime, an arrest warrant for Osborne was obtained. Monterey County Sheriff Office Detectives traveled to Austin where they collaborated with Austin Police Department's Sexual Assault Unit and took Osborne into custody at his office.
Osborne was booked into the Travis County jail on a $100,000.00 warrant from Monterey County for Assault With Intent To Commit Rape, Sexual Penetration by a Foreign Object, Attempted Forcible Rape and False Imprisonment by Violence.
Osborne is currently in the process of being extradited to Monterey County for the pending charges.
