Travis County detectives investigating robbery

The Travis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery in the southwest county area.

The sheriff’s department says on the night of Sept. 22, the 7-Eleven store at 6111 FM 2244 on Bee Caves Road was robbed.

The suspect displayed and attempted to use a Taser on the store clerk, before grabbing money from the cash register and fleeing the scene, according to officials.

Detectives describe the suspect as a white male in his early 20’s,

  • a height of 5’11”
  • thin build
  • short, dirty-blond hair

Officials say the suspect was clean-shaven and last seen wearing a blue shirt and black shorts.
The Sheriff’s Office released photos of the suspect captured by the store surveillance video.

If anyone knows who the suspect is, or has any information about this case, the Sheriff’s office is asking to contact Detective Scott Schroeder at (512) 854-3234 or Crime Stoppers at (512) 472-TIPS (8477).
