Travis County Sheriff's Detectives investigating theft of cell phone

Travis County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating the theft of a cell phone that occurred at the Good Luck Grill, 14605 North FM 973, in Manor.

On January 29, 2016 at about 3:50 PM the victim left her phone on a table near the front door. A family of four entered the restaurant.

Surveillance video shows the family going to a booth and while the father leaves the room the oldest son talks to his mother and then goes to the front table and takes the phone.

The video shows that the mother knew what the boy was doing and does nothing to stop him from taking the phone.

The father returns and they all watch as the victim is looking for her phone. When the victim leaves the room they walk out of the restaurant without ordering.

The family is described as a Hispanic man and woman with two boys, about 10 and 2 years of age.

Anyone who knows the identity of the suspects in this case is asked to contact Detective Chris Orton at 512-854-7411 or Crime Stoppers at 512-472-TIPS (512-472-8477).
