Two children identified in fatal crash in Cedar Park

Police identified 1-year-old Daniel Chaudhary and 8-year-old Elijah Chaudhary as the victims who died in a car crash Wednesday afternoon.

One woman, 31-year-old Zara Salman, remains in critical condition. 

Cedar Park police responded to calls of an accident on W. Whitestone Boulevard and Walton Way around 3:45 p.m. Police determined the incident was between a Dodge Ram and Nissan Rouge. The two children, who were pronounced dead on the scene, and Zara were in the Nissan. The driver and passenger of the Dodge Ram were treated for minor injuries at the scene. 

Elijah was a student at Winkley Elementary School in Leander.
