If you're driving to the Big 12 Championship game this weekend, you may notice signs "OK, Cool. Hook 'Em" on some Texas highways.
The Texas Department of Transportation put up the signs after CEO James Bass took to Twitter asking for creative messages this week.
Hey @_delconte got any ideas for creative safety message signs for this weekend? We have some, but are open to ideas. Limits: 15 characters per line, 3 lines per phase, 2 phases. G-rated.— James Bass (@TxDOTCEO) November 28, 2018

In addition to the "OK, Cool Hook 'Em" sign, another reads "The eyes of TX are upon you. Buckle up."
Thanks for the input @_delconte and team; we have a winner. Look for them on the way to @TexasFootball @Big12Conference game.— James Bass (@TxDOTCEO) November 29, 2018
Drive Friendly - the Texas Way and buckle up. Let us know if you like the signs, but please don’t take a pic (unless a passenger). #OKCoolHookEm pic.twitter.com/jDEO1yD1fG
