UTPD on lookout for man accused of assaulting female student

University of Texas police are on the lookout for a man accused of assaulting a female student in the 2300 block of Guadalupe the morning of January 21.

UTPD tweeted out at around 8 a.m. that it was notified by the Austin Police Department that the female student was walking near Tyler's when a man approached her from behind and pulled down her pants and underwear.

The suspect fled the area without any further interaction.

UTPD says the suspect is described by the victim as a Hispanic male in his early 20s and wearing "hipster" style glasses.

No suspects have been identified.
