Williamson County Sheriff's Office searching for lost weapon, bag

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating a missing gun bag.

The missing gun bag contains a Glock 21 .45 caliber. It was reported missing by a deputy. 

According to the Williamson County Sheriff's Office, the weapon bag is presumed to have fallen out of the deputy's vehicle while driving to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Firing Range from Airport Road and Lakeway Drive area in Georgetown. The bag was reported missing at approximately 2 p.m. Wednesday.

The bag contains the following:

  • Glock 21 .45 caliber
  • Three - 10 round magazines
  • One - 10 round mini-magazine
  • Seven - 13 round magazines

Anyone who finds the missing gun bag or has any information that could lead deputies to the location of the missing gun bag is asked to immediately call 911 to report it.
