Woman arrested for "Karate Kid Crane Kicking" officer

According to police, Sarah Pierce, 22, was arrested and charged with Assault on a Public Servant, after she allegedly "Karate Kid Crane Kicked" a police officer.

Police said Pierce, who was walking along Red River St., shouted "what are you looking at?" to officers while they were at a stop sign. An officer responded "I'm not looking at you," and Pierce walked up to the car and began hitting the window and screaming.

According to police, an officer exited the car, identified herself as an officer, and Pierce flailed her arms before kicking the officer in the stomach. A second officer, who was in the car, jumped out and took Pierce to the ground.

Pierce was arrested and taken to the Travis County Jail. Her bail has been set at $10,000.
