Wrong way crash involving trooper in Williamson County

Williamson County Sheriff's Deputies are investigating a crash involving a state trooper.

Deputies said the crash also left one man in critical condition.

It happened earlier this afternoon around 12 p.m., when an older man was driving north bound on Highway 195. Deputies said at some point the driver crossed over the center line and headed the wrong direction on South 195.

At that moment a DPS trooper was traveling southbound on Highway 195 in a SUV style patrol car when both vehicles ended up colliding.

The trooper was treated for minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation

The older driver was also transported and is in critical condition.

Deputies said there still investigating and are still unclear why and how the man ended up driving on the wrong side of the road.
