McCallum High School recognized as National GRAMMY Signature School

The GRAMMY Foundation has named McCallum High School the best out of 13 schools across the country recognized as GRAMMY Signature Schools. It received $5,000 to benefit its music program.

The GRAMMY Foundation's Signature schools program recognizes top public high schools across the country for outstanding commitment to their music education programs. The top three schools are designated Gold recipients and the best of the Gold recipients is named the National GRAMMY Signature School and receives $5,000.

McCallum received a custom award and the grant at a reception May 7. Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel, a nine-time GRAMMY winner, performed at the event.
