NY students ready to meet Pope Francis

A dozen high school seniors will never forget an upcoming experience. They will all meet Pope Francis during his visit to New York next Friday. All of the students attend school in the Archdiocese of New York. They were selected by their school administrators because they embody the joy and goodness of living a life of service.

The archdiocese says this is a wonderful opportunity to share with the pope that 64 percent of students attending inner-city Catholic schools live below the poverty line but 98 percent of them graduate.
