One person dead in North Austin hit-and-run
AUSTIN, Texas - One person is dead after a hit-and-run crash in North Austin. It happened just before 1:30 a.m. this morning on North Lamar near Rutland.
Police say a white man was walking along the southbound lanes of Lamar and was hit by a car. The driver of the car did not stop.
Police are interviewing witnesses but there is no description of the vehicle yet. APD is looking for the driver.
