Former Justice Sandra Day O'Connor speaks on the passing of Antonin Scalia

- "I liked him very much and admired his capacity."

Retired Justice Sandra Day O'Connor spoke about her colleague, Antonin Scalia, who died suddenly over the weekend.

"He was a remarkable man and a fine jurist," she said. "He had the background and the capacity to do the job magnificently."

Justice O'Connor, who was appointed by President Ronald Reagan in 1981, also has strong feelings about how Scalia should be replaced.

Some Republican Senators are saying they want the next president to nominate the new justice, not President Obama.

"So when you hear one side saying let's wait until the next president is in office, what do you think about that?" Fox 10's Troy Hayden asked.

"I don't agree with it," she replied. "I think we need somebody there now to do the job, and lets get on with it."
