FOX 7 Debate: Cruz vs Perry for U.S. Senate

Ted Cruz's presidential run is over, for now. But his U.S. Senate run is still in play and, according to a new poll, there is at least one fellow Republican who could unseat him.

We're taking about former Governor Rick Perry.

Here's a look at the numbers. Perry would beat Cruz by nine percentage points. The poll found Perry would get 46 percent of the vote and Cruz, 37 percent. Meanwhile, 17 percent of voters are undecided at this point.

Joining us now to talk more about this is the Deputy Director of Progress Texas, Phillip Martin and GOP Consultant, Edward Getterman.
